Job Description:

The Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for:

    * Managing Macquarie's technology infrastructure
    * Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing business systems
    * Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies, and services

The Group provides each major business in Macquarie with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.

Macquarie ITG is recruiting a Voice Networks Service Support Specialist to join the 24 x 7 Global Service Delivery Team based in Manila The team provides 2nd/3rd  level technical support for mission-critical NEC, Avaya and IPTEL Voice Systems worldwide.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include:

•  troubleshooting and resolving voice network incidents in all major regions;

•  implementation of voice network infrastructure MACD’s (Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletes);

•  compliance with Macquarie policies and ITS processes for service and projects;

•  implementing changes to voice peripherals such as Voicemail and Voice Call Recorders ;

•  participating in weekend relocations and powerdowns remotely;

•  record keeping, auditing and documentation.

You will have a good range of networking experience, and will:

•  be able to work under pressure and take ownership of critical incidents and progress them to resolution

•  demonstrate a proven track record of delivering service excellence.

•  be a self starter and assume responsibility for a range of activities and tasks,

•  be a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

•  flexible regarding travel, overtime and working shifts to coverage the range of regions that we support. 

•  be familiar with the ITIL framework for incident, change and problem management;

Previous experience and a working knowledge in one of the following two areas is mandatory. Experience in both areas is highly desirable:

•  Avaya

•  CISCO IPTEL (CUCM Versions 6 and 4);

Knowledge in the following areas is desirable:

•  Cisco Data Networking;

•  Voice Recorder technologies (BT, Nice, and Verint)

•  BT Dealing systems;
